M1 Killers are already pretty weak, but dead with the "pick yourself up" Update

I love to play Killer, i like most of them and i own all of them, so i play all of them from time to time and i must say when i play a Killer like Nurse, blight, Wesker or Huntress, i can compete with most survivor groups, not 4k's but good games where everything is possible.

But when i play M1 killers like freddy, Demo, Myers, Clown, Hag, Pig (u know the rest) i have the worst matches possible, its pure frustration and zero fun and after the games im exhausted and its not rare for me to think about Quitting the game.

Not even as Survivor when i play SoloQ i feel so much stress and frustration, yes sometimes u get camped or tunneled, but in most cases i can see why the killer does it, because i know he has big pressure and needs a kill. But even when i dont see a reason, i die and then i move on.

As a Killer u dont just die and move on, u have to sit there and get bullied till the game is over. Second chance perks let them get away, shield them or isnta heal them. stupid RNG and massive pallet counts make some maps horrible. CoH gives them superfast healing until u waste time u dont have as a killer to find and deal with the totem just to have it enlighten once again, while your Hex was destroyed 1 minute into the game because it spawned on a hill. Hyperfocus and proof thyself make fastes genrushes ever despite the 90 seconds.

At Least all Killers could mori a Player in the game wich prevented Pallet and flashlight saves. Also u had one less Player to deal with. This will be gone.

While Survivors not just have all the things i mentioned above but soon will be able to pick themselves up whenever they are not hooked.

So in a Scenario i can hook one survivor, and maybe down one that was coming to save him, so we have one on the hook and one dying, now i have only 2 left to worry about and i can try to snowball. In the new update not anymore, if i dont hook the second guy he will get up and unhook. And if he has unbreakable, wich i bet will be meta in the new version, i have 22 seconds to find the other two guys and get 4 hits in. or 6 if they have Dead hard and know how to use it.

How should a M1 Killer do anything then? M1 Killers are already weak and have only a chance if they are optimal played, the survivors make mistakes and the Killer has some form of fast travel.

Im really close to uninstall after this damn frustrating matches, i dont wanna play Nurse every game

    I don’t think I’ve ever had a match where any of the killers you’ve named have slugged survivors. Myers largely doesn’t slug because he usually has the add-ons to mori. Hag doesn’t really need to slug; she can teleport across the map. I’d think Pig slugging would work even better now with the new mechanic as she has the traps that were recently buffed. And for whatever reason, the other m1 killers just down and hook in my games. Also Freddy and Demogorgon aren’t m1 killers. Nor is Hag.

    i marked only one of 100 games as slugging, but it was also marked als toxic so it was most likely a ego trip.

    When do you ever need to slug someone for more than 45 seconds? And that number is likely to be increased

    When someone with boil runs to a hook deadzone making it literally impossible to hook them. They always just run straight there when they get aggro. The only way to eliminate them from the game is to have their bleedout timer fill in while they are on the ground.

    Originally it wasn't terribly bad, as it would put pressure on survivors to have to run over to get the survivor up (and lose gen time in the process). Now with a 22 second self pickup (which everyone who uses uses strategy will use), there is no downsides for the survivors, as they will just pick themselves up fast. It makes them untouchable the entire match. No point chasing.


    Another reason is body block, Sabo and flashlight squads. They force the killer to drop their survivor to have to chase off the blockers which can take some time.

    Even a Twins main, Lynxi, noted that is not typical for her to leave a slug downed for more than 45 seconds unless she's also right there. Her own big concern was the time reductions given by Unbreakable.

    boil over only does something if you have flip flop + full recovery. which means it does nothing if you instantly pick up

    Twins can hover over the downed body, run to the downed person, regardless of whatever pick up perks they have, all Twins need to do is switch back to baby Victor the moment they see the status of the survivor change and they go back down.

    The only time this changes is if they have Tenacity, and at that point, they deserve it for taking something so niche.

    this is literally the worst case scenario for a killer and its not even that bad, literally just pick them the hell up and hook them. Everyone is exaggerating so much (like always) just because there is a change.

    They use boil over to not allow killers to drop off a height to get to a nearby hook.
