Gen Regression Buff?

Okay, so since Unbreakable changes and new Mori might be possible in the future, I am hoping it is not; but.... if it does come true; can we add a new killer Buff for killers, in which they could regain back Completely gens and damage for the first time?!?

It would be a big Quality of Life improvement, and you can make it only work on one gen at a time, and you have to be able hook someone first. But, why not let the Killer gain back a Complete gen and damage it to make it easy for them to delay the Survivors's progress. It helps with those awfully scenarios, in which a killer wasted more then a minute in chasing, downing, and carrying and hooking their first Survivor on their first hook; and the other 3 was able to get 2 or 3 gens in that time frame. My Quality of life improvement, rewards killer by seeking more hooks, as each hook will allow the killer to go find a complete gen they can choose to damage and reduce some of it progress by half or 1/4; so they can buy some time. It would discouraged Camping and tunnelling too, as you can play well and chase and collect hooks to take away Completely gen progress; of course, it will not work agaisnt some progress, nit yet finished gens. And it can help create strategies in by finding the perfect gens to damage and reset some of progress back.

    1. We don't know if base UB will ever hit live. Entity knows Self-Care's rework and Old Legion's buff didn't.

    2. No. Hook states and Completed gens are the two things that should never under any circumstances be touched.

Killers would use this to get 3 gens situations and them camp them and well if you did 1 minute chase you over commited at start. Gens are now fine though some killers just needs buffs to have better chase power.

Then how do we address the elephant of the room, which is Survivors having a shorter time span then killer; when it comes to Objectives goals. Survivors just need to finished 5 gens and open the exit gate and leave. Killers's goal is to kill, yet you cannot normally 12 hooks, or achieve a couple hook in a regular game; as survivors have the number advantage (4v1). Killer are more likely to camp, tunnel, and somewhat slug for a chance to down and kill one Survivor; in order to maximize pressure, by reducing that number down to 3 or less.

If Killers cannot have regular 12 hook games, and are more pressure to camp and tunnel; won't adding some sort of reward towards hooks be beneficial like taking back one completely gen's progress at a time.

What kind of buffs would you do, to give killer the need mobility/lethality/map pressure they need for any killer (that isn't a strong one). And if by chance i am over committing, it shouldn't be my fault that some of the game's map balances designs are so imbalance and sometimes lean towards survivors; that experience Survivors can easily ruin your day by exploiting these loops and tiles, and killers are pressure into a lose-lose scenario more.

How so, alot of players can exploit alot of things; like impossible to pick up down Survivors location, or closed windows in dead dog Saloon in which you can used a flashlight through.

My buffs is design to reward the killer, a free "pop" on any completely Gen on the map, and be able to delay the Survivor's progress of escape alittle longer.

If all five gens are done, and you got a hook or two; you can go kick some gens and forced the Survivors to work on it again. It would reward good killers with more hooks, and punished camping killers whom farm for just one kill and one hook; as they cannot stop some completely gens over one.

Yeah, a 3 gen can happen; but it would then become a strategy and be more in favor for killer in Endgame and makes that part more exciting. Plus, if the killer is bad and hasn't gotten any hooks and spend to long in chase; then Survivors can easily Breese and win.

No. 61% and you want to force 3-gen every game. Wesker is too oppresive already for 3gens. Regressions can allow any killer to defend 3gen for 10 minutes (provided 4 survivors are alive. Otherwise he can do that indefinitelly).

I am totally against making the game boring camping 3gen every single game.

It's interesting that this is not possible. Then it means I am some kind of miracle, because I can do that sometimes. Killers that play against me can also hook 12 times sometimes. It usually works when killer is capable of pressuring multiple survivors (so not by camping). Must be some kind of miracle if it's not possible.

The only reason survivors are favored is, that killers camp/tunnel which catapults them to play against much more skilled survivors. Stop camping and tunneling, loose a few games that were handed to you by this cheap tactics and suddenly you will be able to loop/pressure survivors just fine

I was thinking of adding that to Pop... like if you don't use it then you get a stack and if you get 3 stacks you can kick a completed Gen to make it start regressing... but that was too powerful

Survivors already don't like the Gens at 90 charges (even 80 charges was too much "boredom")

So here's my fix to Gens... (UHMMMM) fix the Maps: create areas that don't have 3 Gens next to one another... create loops that have more counterplay to them (either add more breakable walls or make a Survivor perk that makes those breakable walls and make it -either breakable for Survivors or rebuild them back... or make them vaults that last 3 vaults then break-)

And either make Gens take 80 charges (or less) and increase the base Gen regression (and change the regression perks)

Since progression is 1.0 charges per second for one Survivor (I don't remember the numbers for multiple Survivors on one Gen) (I also don't remember great skillchecks bonus) so normally it'll take 90 seconds (or less) to complete a Gen... but regression is .25 charges per second so it takes 5 minutes and 47 seconds to fully regress a Gen...

FYI if any of you want to make a video that cover Gen progress and the rest of the Gen regression perks I would love to see it
