Wesker vault hit
how does it exactly work? why sometimes when i vault a pallet/window Wesker refuses to hit survivor that is next to me? Do i need to be looking at him all the time, or is there a short "time window", where if he doesn't detect a survivor right after vault, he won't hit him anymore

I do not know.
But my guess is that it is because this vault hit system can only attack such a small area that it is impractical.
In fact, I can't recall a single instance of this system causing a vault hit.
Perhaps the coordinates must match those of the survivor at the moment of vaulting. Hypothesis.
I have reported the bug. Don't you think that the fact that the vault hit occurred on a survivor who is slugging reinforces this hypothesis?
PS: I uploaded this video to the bug report a while ago, but no developer seems to have checked it because it still has 0 views lol

it was fixed in 6.2.2
as for my question - i vaulted window near the Springwood main, saw survivor to my left, trying to vault back (but i blocked the vault), and Wesker didn't hit him
And there was many situations, where i vault the pallet, and survivor just goes straight back to it and vault it back, because i moved a little (i was expecting Wesker to hit him at this situation, but apparently he's not)

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't read your intent.
Hmmm, I don't know if that is what the developer assumed, but it may be that the coordinates of Wesker and the survivor are the same right after vaulting. For example, to be able to enter the body of Michael who is stalking him. If so, it might be because the vault action cannot be made unfeasible due to body blocking.
I am not a developer so I apologize for not being able to provide a satisfactory answer.
