Prioritize Matchmaking for Fairer/Quality Matches

Please set MMR to a level which is more in line with the players to be all of the same skill level; the skill gap is too wide in both directions. It’s nice to get into games almost instantly, but it’s not worth the trade-off for quality sessions. I’d rather sit in a lobby for 7 mins as killer, while MMR looks for players closer to my skill level, instead of giving me new/inexperienced players, or a 4 man SWF with 3K hours each. Same goes for Survivor- I prefer to wait 5-6 mins in a lobby, for MMR to give me competent team players who participate- as opposed to the many droves of selfish/inexperienced/ragequitting players I get on my team. These same horrid players I consistently get as teammates, is what MMR gives me to go up against well seasoned, high skilled killers. That’s not fair. The only thing I share in common with them, is that I do not have a high escape rate. I do gens, I help my team (protection hits, safe unhooks, EGC rescues, healing, Hex hunting, etc.) , and I do my best to try and lead the killer away from high traffic areas so that my team can make progress. I shouldn’t be punished and forced to play with Locker Larry, Urban “Corner” Evading Eugene, & Self-Care “For Days” Sandy.

Please have your development team look into ways the MMR system can better determine how efficient a player is at playing the game, as opposed to escapes and kills. Maybe it can gather info from the emblems and use it in conjunction with escapes and kills. That way players who don’t escape, AND don’t contribute will stay at the bottom of the MMR system, and not get mixed in with the rest of the community of survivors who are team players. As for killer, maybe look at how quickly a killer ends their matches in combination with kills, so that their MMR raises quicker to deal with higher skilled survivor players. If they’re consistently ending matches quickly with say Starstruck/Infectious Nurse for example, then it’s a bit much for middle MMR- shoot them to the top where they will (maybe) face more of a challenge in 4 man SWF’s, while killers who go for hooks in combination of kills can stay middle of the road getting more fairer and quality matches.
