Suggection for fixing "hug tech" on Blight
Just vertical lock the camera in his power.

He launched like that actually.
Blight's pitch lock was removed because they want Blight to be able to manipulate his collision so that he can make those turns around corners. So looking down when approaching a corner before swinging, potentially even getting a 180? Perfectly fine and intended.
The problem is that with hug tech, you start a rush already colliding, and his collision system doesn't know what to do so it simply ignores it.

Why "fix" one of the more interesting parts of the killer and the ways in which you can use his power?
This does nothing but remove interesting play and skill ceiling from the killer.
The idea that they would remove this in the name of balance, while leaving Alchemist Ring and Compound 33 untouched, is a ######### joke.
Especially given how simple the changes to Alch Ring and c33 would be to make them balanced.

Blight's power is meant to slam into surfaces and angle its attack not gain unnecessary speed to move around an object, that is Oni, Blight having this gives him a free injure on any loop because he can just switch into using either or. His power was meant to be simple but the hug tech is a legitimate bug, circumventing an actual function of his power for more strength. Imagine if Wraith could injure survivors without needing to uncloak due to a bug and people just like you were to say it is part of his kit and is what makes him interesting. Remember when Victor could injure survivors inside a locker and people were saying it wasn't a bug only for it to get patched next update.
