Garden of Joy is worse than old Haddonfield.

The main building has three very strong windows, with one bordering on a literal infinite. There are also many areas where it's nearly impossible to see survivors, especially on console where brightness is much lower. The Greenhouse loop is very strong, and it's easy to lose survivors with the weird geometry.

The collision is also abysmal. Billy, Blight, and Bubba can expect to get constantly cucked by the bushes and small tree limbs. Attacks getting auto-aim'd is also very common.

But on the survivor side, it's almost just as bad. Half the map is a deadzone and many of the junk pallets are far too unsafe.

I have to disagree on pallets being unsafe. As survivor it's a really safe map. As killer you can mindgame some of the pallets there, it's not as bad as everyone thinks. Only problem is the main building where it's just too dark.

I'll show you a picture. Can you see what's happening here?

You can clearly notice that there's a survivor (Felix) on the right and he's going to open the chest on the left.

I think that map is okay, the windows are a gamble you can win or lose.

I primarily run blight. Garden of joy turns me into an m1 killer most of the time. 😂

Uhhh gotta disagree. Those windows, especially the dining hall window, are EXTREMELY safe. Just look behind you, even if they double back, you have enough time to run back around to it again.

I can’t speak to if the windows are too strong or not but the house is way, way too dark. The snapshot in the post above yours is a great example.

This map needs to be nerfed badly but we all know it's never going to happen. It's a fun gameplay loop, put boon in main building, run there after getting hit in every chase
