Question about Adept Achievements and Legendary characters

So if you wanted to go for an adept Achievement and used a legendary character instead of the original character, would it still count towards the Adept Achievement? I've always wondered this.

I am pretty sure they do, since it is at the end of the day just a cosmetic.

I would hope and assume so. Same with daily rituals.
but I actually don’t know for sure.

Well legendaries change the name of the character and stuff, so that's why I ask. Not sure how it works.
