We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

A way to solve HOSTAGES problems

Hi,

Introduction:

The game has changed is time duration from 2 hours to 1 hour, but is still much time for a person being held hostage, since it may only have 1 - 2 hours to play some games and he may meets this kind of problem again and again. This person may dosen't have a way to do something else while waiting for that, and anyway he wanted to just play DbD, so most people just have to quit the game and have a penalty.

If a survivor is AFK (or just moves around the closets) it gets some birds on his head so that the killer can find him. It ruins the game of course, since with the last patches the game became more difficult and being 3 survivors is basically a lost game, also people may go down with the rank because of that, but at least there is an AFK thing on surv, but what about killers?

When the killer is AFK, and this happened sometimes, especially at highest rank, the game from the survivors POV is just making gens, some flashlights and some totems, but who is playing for ranks will not grow since he needs to be chased from the killer or protect and heal his team, so the game is useless and not fun. All this because there is no provision for killers in these situations.

This also makes the problem of being held hostage exist, since who dosen't want the penalty just stays afk.

The idea:

Make the game finish (without penalty) after some minutes of the Killer being AFK, so that hackers will not have anymore fun on held people hostage, and maybe solve some killer face camping.

Not the best Solution of course, but is still something.

Conclusion:

The game needs more rules on the singular person, not only at the game itself, in my opinion.

Scinuzza.
