So it seems that i have been banned for "Chat"
I had a strange occurance after a game against some russian players where the Level of my
Killers and survivors where leveled up without my doing, then today i am banned, but the reason
is "missuse of chat" or something. So is this a permanent Ban for something i have wrote in the chat?
is it not permanent and if so, where can i see for how long it is?
Could it be possible that my account got hacked and my stats where changed and whatever?
I mean yes, i have written some things in chat, im clearly not a angel, but a permanent ban for a chatwindow that can be just closed, seem a bit strange on a account that payed about 250€ for the game.
If someone knows, please let me know thank u

Probably do up a support ticket to try and get details.

The level up could be the prestige catch up. And chat based bans are easy to get, all you need to do is swear or get salty in chat and you'll get slapped with one. Just gotta keep it clean.

I searched for the Ban rules, there it says its 24h - Permanent, so it should not be a permanent ban, yes?
I mean it was my first ban ever, and im 34 and play online since i was 11 years old, and i never got banned out of any game till now ^^'

Is there even a thing like "Permanent chat ban"?
Perma ban is only considered to accounts. Not chats.
Try to use it after 24 hours.

sorry my english is not the best, i mean i cant enter the game, so my account has been banned, yes. But sadly they dont write exactly why only "chat violation" and they also dont write if its permanent or just for some hours.

Yes thank u i made a support ticket, now all i can do is wait. Well if this is really a permanent ban, at least i have more time for other games, that dont make me feel misserable and let people bully me all day :D

I'm not exactly sure how chat bans work. I wasn't even sure if BHVR still did those. I don't think it will be permanent though. But I'm pretty sure bans are issued regardless of how much money went into an account.

Well im an adult, i dont deny i have written some nasty things after some games where i felt really abused, but still feels a bit off when u think about all the hackers one encounters every day and me getting banned for words.
Yeah ur right, this money is allready theirs now, no reason for them to care. Well if the ban is really permanent, this is one less game i spent too much money on ^^

Well, first of all, check your mail. When someone getting banned, usually they bring the reason and time in the mail box on which your account is.
Second: create a support ticket, it's the only way for you to at least have an answer, if not appeal even.

Doesn't matter how much money you've spent on the game. If you were banned for something you said, than that's on you. Rules are rules. If, however, you were banned for something out of your control, this is not the place to find out. I'd recommend you contact support for that since the details of things like this are usually kept confidential.

It should say on the in-game ban notice, if it's got an expiry date on it then it's a temporary ban - without the date it's usually a permanent ban. Yes you can get permanent bans instantly on chat offences depending on the nature of what you say.
If you require more information please contact support, you cannot appeal a temporary ban in the same way as you can a permanent ban but at least you can receive an answer as to whether it is permanent or not. Also, if you play on Steam a permanent ban will show on your Steam Profile.
