Fixing killers who stand in front of a hooked survivor

I love playing this game. I'll never be an expert at it. But I'm okay. I literally played five games in a row. Where the killer stood in front of a hooked survivor. I know there's discussion saying leave that person to hang and start generators. But even when you do that seldom do you get all the generators started in order to exit. There needs to be some sort of fix where if you run up to unhook the survivor the killer cannot grab you and hook you. Allow him to hit you and injure you. I would take a hit for a fellow survivor. But being able to literally pick you up while you're trying to save the survivor he's literally stood in front of since he's hooked is ridiculous. I get so frustrated with it that I literally just stop playing.
