Easy, actual fix to photosensitivity concerns regarding flashlight clicking:

Make the flashlight fade in and out of full brightness like the Onryo's power instead of clicking on and off instantly, and make THAT an option that players with photosensitive epilepsy can turn on.

Have photosensitivity mode be an option you can turn on in the settings, considering there are a lot of sections in this game and many Killers that can cause symptoms. The WHOLE game should be togglable for sensitive people.

The fact that the developers claim to care about people with photosensitive epilepsy when in reality you're trying to remove a form of BMing from the game when the clicking serves an important feature in letting you cancel a flashlight instantly instead of being forced into the state.

Actually i don't think it would. Similar to the new flashlight speed its just funny seeing players trying to do it. Having a slower crouch speed would just look funny and wouldnt trigger half as much as it does now.

Also i see your the sort of player who likes to clicky and tbag just to trigger and piss off the killers as you "would teabag anyways". If thats true then it is players like you that forces these sorts of updates im afraid. If not true then ignore previous statement.

If you're not photosensitive or have epilepsy then I don't really think anyone has a say on what will definitively work, the fact is photosensitive players have been asking for this feature for years, but it's gone unnoticed, and everyone just points fingers at bming, everyone reacts to it differently, but the simplest way to cover most ground is to avoid flashing lights altogether, which is exactly what they did. the idea is fine, it doesn't really change how getting flashlight saves works, just makes it so you can't spam clicks, be friendly to your teammates, or toxic to the killer. that's the only real thing this update changes

I've never seen a community get so riled up over something meant to increase accessibility.
