Trappers new trap sounds are so unsatisfying
I get the sounds are supposed to be more realistic but they are so unsatisfying compared to the simple loud snap with scream. Like even hearing my teammates get caught it doesn't bring the same oof as it did when it was a loud snap.
Please bring back the simple loud snap of a trap being set off instead of this realistic sound that's just so underwhelming and gets lost in all the other sounds that are already in the game.

So I played a match earlier against Trapper and the trap sounds were like this underwhelming realistic sound. Whenever my teammates stepped in them or someone disarmed them would hear it and it was just sad.
Just played a match now against the Trapper and it was the normal snap which made me happy. Not sure what was up with the other sound, hoping it's not a bug where a new sound their planning is sneaking through because I don't want that sound to be permanent.

Did he have Padded Jaws? Those change the sound of the traps.

Maybe? I didn't even think to look since we just had a patch. I hope that was it. Also good to know not to use that add on if that's the case because hearing that snap sound is like the best part of playing Trapper.

The different sound with Padded Jaws has been in the game ever since they buffed Trapper a year ago. It's a pointless addon anyways.
