Escape shouldn't be a requirement for event rewards
You just increased Kill Rates to 61% meaning survivors have only a 39% chance of getting their void energy transferred to rift. Meanwhile a killer can just collect theirs from going around kicking pumpkins. I get you want to prevent survivors suiciding on hook but this really sucks for the survivors that get downed during end game and die. It also encourages other survivors to NOT take risks for teammates because they'll lose out if they die.

The reason why it's tied to escape is because survivors in past events would get the reward and then kill themselves on hook to speedrun rewards.
The event lasts for multiple weeks and if you are in a need to get the rewards ASAP, just play killer.

You don't need to escape to receive the reward, you need to have deposited 30 void energy however...your reward is secured by that action.

Should probably remove that loading screen then because it makes it sound like survivors are missing out on part of an event reward by dying.

the loading screen is correct - you have to deposit the void energy first prior to dying. If you're carrying it, it's lost - it doesn't carry into the next game.

Oh so if you had for some reason only had like 6 energy, like you were multi-gen chased, and then escaped you'd start next match with 6 energy? That makes more sense.

I only got one reward out of the multiple times I got 30 per match. Is the event bugged like everything else?
