What happened to the deafness effect from knock out?

I dont recall you guys mentioning the removal of the deafness effect from knockout but personally it kind of made the perk more interesting to see played, as it helped immerse as if youve been actually "knocked out" rather than just slowed

This didnt really have a practical effect per se but i can see why you guys might have wanted to remove it (some people might have sensitive ears) but if this was the case, why isnt it just a toggleable option? Im honestly starting to miss it the few times ive seen it in play and wished it would have been a setting instead if you wanted the deafness effect or not (since it doesnt really affect much)
