What's your reason you continue playing the game?

Is it for the grind? The toxic survivors/killers? Addiction? For fun? What's your reason and why?

I'm here cuz it's an addiction and can't stop but my god, people can really be jerks on this game and it's made me depressed and anxious about how the community will go in the future...

Addiction. But I quit from time to time to return again.

Fun. I would not play a game if I didn’t have at least a little bit of fun. It’s also became a habit I guess. It’s also just the concept and atmosphere/aesthetics/music of this game which drew me in and doesn’t let me go.

I got my friend into the game at the end of 2019. He made it to Twitch Affiliate streaming DBD non-stop. Kinda hard to make him play anything else lol. As much as I despise DBD, if he still enjoys it, I'll play with him to save him from solo q

It's fun in different ways. Sometimes, it's a battle of wits (I beat you or you beat me). Other times, it's a hilarious memefest. When it stops being fun, I quit.

And that is completely reasonable, when something stops being fun, you just take a break and come back, rinse and repeat. I still remember when my friend ran Self Care and No Mither unironically.

May be biased since I'm still newish but fun, friends, and pvp. When I have friends with me I play survivor and have a blast, when I'm alone I play killer and have a blast, and I have a very high tolerance for repetitiveness when it comes to pvp games since I can encounter so many different playstyles, builds, and people. Even different or opposing mentalities can be a new experience.
