Option to deny unhooks
How would you feel about an option to deny unhooks same way you can deny getting healed by holding shift ?
Let's say the game is objectively lost for survivors and you're at a point of just trading hooks, wouldn't it be better if you could just die on hook and go next?
Let's say killer decides they wanna farm and survivors play along but you don't wanna farm yourself, wouldnt it be better to just be done and go next?

You don't want to DC so you want another way to 100% get out of a game at will.

A valid consideration but if that was the case i could still run to the killer, im talking about when the game is just lost or has swinged badly in favor of killer beyond redemption

People talk like DC'ing is a bad thing, but they also want a button to surrender. How is that different?

I have escaped many matches that were "lost". If you give up you will never know what it feels like to beat the odds.
Many people will do it on the first hook because they don't like the map or killer.

Careful what you say about Dcing, mods will give you a penalty point if they deem you encourage dc even slightly, learned this the hard way 😂

From a purely personal perspective, I do think this would have made more sense before base Endurance was added. Being able to deny an unhook would have far more applications then (e.g. teammate is carelessly unhooking you right in front of the killer and you don't want to waste a hook state). That said, nowadays, I think it would be fairly limited.
I'm trying to think of it from the other Survivor's perspective where they're running over to save you because they still think the match can be saved, but then you say "no" and they ended up wasting their time, possibly even get downed if the Killer chased them back to the hook. Sure, you could attempt to escape and ignore the skill checks to die, but at least that way they have some feedback that you don't want to be saved (big chunks of the bar disappearing).
In the end, I feel like the situation where this could be used but existing options couldn't would be fairly limited, and it could create more frustrating situations than it solves.

You're not wrong,,, maybe an indication to survivors like your aura on hook being a different color or Smth? Because as it stands right now people will just come get their unhook points even if you clearly are trying to give up

Not a great idea. Even if game is lost unhooks still provide BP. only time I'd ever want to prevent an unhook is when someone goes for a proper yolo unhook when the killer is on top of us.

I mean worst case you get unhooked and just wait for the killer to come back or run to them and get downed again

Oh for sure, sometimes killer won't down you or even worse just slug you, But at the same time I don't wanna have people farming me for unhooks when its clear i just want out of a game
