Stop the kill switch applied to the BP offering

They do not grant BP, but should not have the problem of game breaking.

It gives us the ability to temporarily switch off any items/offerings/maps/cosmetics/characters that are causing game breaking issues in the game, to ensure continued enjoyment.

it's when something is considered to be game breaking.

Flashbang that stacks two and Huntress Lullaby that was not working, devs did not killswitch.

There is no "consistency".

    I agree wholeheartedly.

    They are not consistent.

Remember the other serious bug in the 6.3.0 patch that caused the stun grenade bug?

    Lullaby did not work.

Why is it that the BHVR thinks that a game-breaking bug killswitch for BP offerings not taking effect, but if you bring it into the game without knowing that Lullaby is ineffective, there is nothing wrong with it? Did they decide that because it is a non-consumable PERK, unlike an offering, there is no problem?

And of course multiple stun grenades are not a serious bug, so they left it without a kill switch. This is PERK, right?

How many standards do they need for consistency?

    ???

    The offering literally doesn't work

    Like it does absolutely nothing.

You just want people to waste their BPS?

There's literally no reason NOT to disable the offerings though. The only thing that happens with them enabled is people who don't know they're bugged will burn them and lose them because they don't actually give you any points. There is zero upside to leaving them enabled.

If anything, BHVR doesn't use the killswitch enough, imo. They should disable Huntress Lullaby as well since its main effect also doesn't work at the moment. If a killer player brings the perk not knowing that it's bugged, they're basically playing with 3 perks when it could've been avoided by not allowing that perk to be used until it's fixed.

They fixed the flashbang bug with this latest patch. I didn't know about Huntress Lullaby, so idk if it's fixed ornot...

There is no need to stop the kill switch to the BP offering.

The consistency of BHVR is discussed here.

The management mentioned that kill switches are applied to bugs that are considered game breaking.

    in 6.3.0...

・The ability to have multiple stun grenades was not killswitched as a game breaking bug.

・The bug of Lullaby not working was not killswitched as a game-breaking bug.

・The BP offering was killswitched as a game-breaking bug.

Why is BP Offering considered a game-breaking bug and the above two are not considered game-breaking bugs?

As a player, I think the top two are game breaking bugs, so if you want to be consistent, either killswitch them all or don't killswitch them all.

    And now with the 6.3.1...

・Bug where the Boon totem in wrecker's yard cannot be destroyed.

・Bug where unusable hooks spawn in Midwich.

We are watching closely to see if BHVR deems these to be game breaking.

We are not convinced that only BP offerings are killswitched.

I hope you will think carefully about whether to killswitch a serious glitch in the main part of the game, the ritual.

    This literally makes zero sense.

It's like saying hey we can't stop all burnings from building down, some are gonna burn down no matter what we do so lets disband the fire brigade we don't need them. We have them and buildings are burning down anyways!

The BPS was disabled because they are limited use and completely non functional but people were using them and wasting them without realiizing.

The flash bang bug turned the nearly useless gimmick perk into a slightly less useless gimmick perk for a whole week and the lullaby bug made a nearly useless gimmick perk slightly more useless. Not game breaking by any means and the perks are still functional which means some people may want to actually use them. There is no reason to want to use a completely non functional BPS, and it actually hurts you to do so because they are limited in number.
