Pig changes
So since Pig's dash is treated more like the secondary power after the reverse beartraps as her primary power I would like to change that so she can be more than a M1 Killer with some build in game delay. Therefore the following changes:
- Her crouch now works similiar to the one of Ghostface, but we keep the delay of the fading terror radius and vanishing of the red light just like it is, she still cannot attack in that mode but is able to dash. Her crouch should keep its role as a stealth approach.
- Because her crouch makes her really slow in comparison to the other stealth killers we should just increase her movementspeed while crouched to maybe 95% or even 100% or more, unlike Ghostface she still cannot attack while crouche with just a M1 but use her dash, so I do not think this will be too much. I just want to make her a bit faster so you don't get punished as much for using it while traversing the map. (Right now her movementspeed while crouched is 90%)
- Since I don't see a reason for her not to be able to use her dash while standing, she can do that now. (If there is some lore reason for why she only does that from crouching position then so be it, since we just made her crouch instantly like Ghostfaces it would still work, but it would be a little bit more qualitify of life if you were not required to crouch beforehand)
- Now to come to Pig's dash itself. Currently it is rather hard to use her dash on most tiles, as many of them just are not long enough to go around with it, the yellow addon "Last Will" does help with the issue a little bit, and since I don't think it would be opressing if it was basekit her dash movementspeed will be increased by 6% without the downside of a longer charge time. We could theoretically even increase it further but for now I think this would already be great. (If you disagree with this point in particular please let me know, I just think her dash should be more powerful and viable on more loops as it is the most fun about her kit)
- Those changes before I would consider buffs, I don't think she would be an A tier killer with those but more in the middle than on the bottom side as she is now. So now to remove something that can annoy Survivors when going against Pig: An active beartraps time only stops decreasing while in chase which makes it possible for the Pig to just follow survivors crouched without starting chase to make them die to the beartrap, I think it's rather unfun when it happens as you cannot remove the trap because you will get grabbed but there is also nothing to loop because you're not in chase, at the same time I also don't want to remove a pigs ability to watch a head pop because of the trap. Therefore I would like to change it so the trap timer does not go down as long as pig is within let's say 12 m of you? This way you you can still watch it from a distance, but he can at least try to remove it and by forcing the pig to come closer end it without getting grabbed... Survivors could technically abuse it by just staying close to the pig, but then again they would be not contributing to the objective at all and at that point it's a 3v1 which is good for the killer anyway.
I know it's quite a lot of text and I appreciate any feedback, if needed I would agree to some nefs to the beatraps as I think they should only be a secondary objective and not the main thing a killer has in its kit. Like when you think about the killer you think about his main ability first: Demogorgons Shred and not his portals, Weskers dash and not his infection and so on, but I feel like on Pig it is currently the other way around, basically nobody uses the Dash and I would like to change that with those changes.
