Wesker being bugged when grabbing survivor the same frame they finish healing.

I used my power on a survivor being healed, when I hit them it grabbed them, hit them against the Tapp. I then tried hooking them but it prevented that from happening (On the bottom left it says I'm holding a survivor). I then go upstairs and Meg starts unlocking a chest. I press the attack button this whole time but nothing happens. Then, I press my power button which grabbed her, however, it wouldn't let me drop her or hook her and I was forced to dc.
