PC/Steam - Spawning near a Pink Glyph means you can start the game exposed

Step 1 : Boot the game
Step 2 : Select a Pink Glyph challenge from the archive
Step 3 : Play as survivor in a public match (I presume any character, I was playing Detective Tapp I believe)
Step 4 : If you are unfortunate enough to spawn next to said pink glyph, it seems to be able to expose you while the camera rotates around your character, before you get a chance to move to avoid it (or commune with the glyph).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Character: Detective Tapp
- Perks played: Deja Vu, We'll Make It, Sprint Burst, Prove Thyself
- Map: Springwood (not sure which variant)
- Frequency of the issue: It didn't occur when I did the first pink glyph challenge, but did a couple of games into trying to do the second challenge. I would imagine that it's not common based on the randomness of spawns of characters/glyphs, but it doesn't seem like it's intended to work that way.
