Oppression rework/buff idea

The only negative with Oppression is the enormously long cooldown, the effect of being able to start regression on 3 random generators + difficult skill checks for people working on them is incredibly useful.


My buff/rework idea: When hitting a gen oppression begin regression on 3 random generators + applies the effect of any of your other gen regression perks (excludes pain res) at 50% efficiency. The gen that you actually kicked will have the regression perk applied as normal.

remove the difficult skill check.

increase the cooldown (maybe? 80 seconds is a very long cooldown as is tbh)


How it would work:

Opression (by itself) -> 3 random gens will begin to regress at 50% regression speed. (A compensatory nerf to account on the additions from paired regression perks. No difficult skill check for the survivor. )

Oppression + call of brine -> 3 random gens start regression at 100% the norm.

Oppression + call of brine + Overcharge -> 3 random gens start regression at 137% and increase to 200% over 30 seconds. If the survivor gets off the gen or comes back at the overcharge skill check still applies to those 3 gens at a reduced 50% miss skill penalty ( I think overcharge adds an extra 5%? So it’s 15% regression if you miss the skill check. 50% efficiency would make it 12.5% if you miss that skill check instead).

    So... what I'm hearing you want is make it terrible as a stand alone perk but obnoxious and possibly OP if you combo it with other regression perks.

    No thanks. Oppression just needs a slightly lower CD.
