The game doesn't launch on steam anymore.
Hello, I wanted to ask for any kind of help when it comes to DbD which all of the sudden doesn't want to launch on steam version of the game.
The game worked just fine until I tried booting it up yesterday. Whenever I press "Play" on steam, the Easy Anti-cheat window pops up followed by an error message.
After which, when I close it or press OK, a crash reporter pops up.
I already tried restarting both steam and computer multiple times, verifying the game files and reinstalling the game entierly yet. I tried looking up the error and only thing I could find is that there might have been some issues with my graphics card drivers. I did find out they weren't up to date but even after installing them and resetting my computer, it hasn't fixed the issue.
Another thing that I think is worth pointing out is the fact that I had the game installed twice. Steam one on the Hard Disk Drive and Epic Games Store version on an External Disk Drive. I have both versions installed since the game was given away for free on EGS and not a single time any issues arose from that fact. The main reason why I'm pointing that fact out is that, unlike the Steam version, EGS one boots up just fine so at this point I'm left clueless as to what the issue could be.

You need to delete the pak files manually and then verify files.

Hello, I have the same Problem as the person above, I already manually deleted the entire Pak folder, verified the files multiple times and reinstalled dbd, but I get the same error over and over again - What else can I do? Haven't played dbd for some months now, and haven't changed anything in the files before the error occured. Please let me now asap, thank you!
