Pyramid Head Glitch?

So me and my friends were playing on Dead Dawg against a super sweaty Pyramid Head. Basically after being tunneled and everything we were gonna throw the game. Unfortunately, I was able to unhook myself from first hook and looped him for a while.


I made contact with his Torment and was swiftly downed thereafter. For some reason, once I was put up in a box, behind the shops on the porch in the corner (not the water tower end but same side) my second hook progression would NOT activate. And shortly before, my friend who was boxed in the same spot ended up losing connection and counting as a DC. Anyway, I told my last remaining friend to just leave me in the box to die, despite the timer not activating right away. Again, I WANTED to die. I didn’t wish to play against the killer anymore. Despite this, we were all confused as to why it wouldn’t start the timer. Long story short, killer claims to have recorded the game and accused us and reported us for cheating claiming we “held the game hostage” by me not getting got from the box (but he was face camping) and allowing my friend to complete the gens to escape (there was still 4 gens left to complete). Now, as a survivor, with common sense, instead of expecting my singular teammate to fully complete all 4 gens while remaining undetected, I would much rather die on hook and let him get hatch. Not sure if this is a glitch with the killer or the map itself. But I can guarantee we were NOT cheating. I guess he was upset he couldn’t sweat his little heart out and disconnected?

    If Pyramid Head stays within 5 meters of Cages of Atonement for 3.5 seconds, Cages of Atonement moves and stops the Entity Progression for 10 seconds, isn't that the thing?

    I think you should write a brief post about what was bugged and how.

    It seems to me... that you are slavishly writing excuses for getting angry and abandoning the match because you were tunnelled...which I am sure is not your intention....Please don't be offended.
