Bloodpoint Cap
I am appreciative of the recent bloodpoint cap from 1 million to 2 million but why have a cap at all? With all the ways to earn BP’s and the recent prestige 100 patch there shouldn’t be a cap at all. Maybe to discourage BP hoarding for new chapter day? As of now I am sitting at 4.5 million bloodpoints with about 8 pages of saved tomb challenges, and three completed dailies just waiting for new chapter day. The problem is I earn 0 bloodpoints per match, and play less because I’m not earning anything. I play anyway because I like the game, just play less. If the cap truly is just a way to keep people coming back, then maybe take i to account that those who are at that level will always come back, because they enjoy it. Please remove bloodpoint cap.

I just used the bloodpoints to level up some killers and bill, which is the only left survivor for me to get to p1, aside from yun jin. But she gotta wait because vittorio comes soon. And i just aim to p3 all the killers. You earn so many bloodpoints anyway, it doesnt matter if you level up the knight on release day or 1 or 2 days later. to me at least. Thats how i deal with the cap. I play until i get something around 1.9 and then i level rush the bloodwebs.
The main intention behind Caps for ingame curtesy is so people dont cheat their curtesy towards 10/20 millions and to avoid Goldfarmers or in DBDs case bloodpoints farmers, who send out their afk bots 24/7 on multiple accounts and by the end of the week sell like 10 million bloodpoints for 20 bucks or so. Its not to keep people from progress, i think.

You dont even need that many bloodpoints for a new Chapter anymore and besides there is no rush plus you can earn bloodpoints very easily.

The cap isn't 2 million. I am at 2.15 just playing normal games and rising. May not be a cap anymore.

I'm actually glad the game pushes me to spend my BPs.
If I stacked 20 millions I'd probably never spend BPs again.

If you had millions and wouldn’t spend it, why do you spend it now? Just hit the cap and forget about it?

If BP farmers were a thing, I’m certain to counter that BHVR would just add BP’s to the shop for auric cell purchase, and make even more money. The reason I have so many now, one’s available is because I have every survivor and killer max perks, perhaps I should’ve mentioned that in my original post. I’m not hoarding, just have nothing to spend it on but new killers.

yeah i can see how it is annoying to not be able to go over the cap then. But i really think the cap is to prevent BP farmers, if they would add those to the shop it would be pay to win and probably many people wouldnt play the game then, if the only way to lvl up your characters is to invest real money.

The cap is 2 million in terms of earning from games you can go over 2 million and still earn if your over because of bonus bloodpoints from blood point codes or the bonuses you get when you sign in and stuff like that

Because I WANT to spend them, and it's good game design not to allow 10 hours worth of Bloodpoint spending in stock.
I reverse the question, why do you want no cap if you're not spending them anyway?

How do you save the Tome challenge bloodpoints? I am forced to redeem it to keep moving.
Also, please strongly consider what @MisterMister is saying. I normally never have bloodpoints built up but I was able to prestige all my survivors and killers finally and now I do want to bank my bloodpoints. It's not fair that I am forced to spend them when prestiging a character is way more than 2 million points and frustrates me because I want the freedom to spend bloodpoints on the characters I am currently playing with. Maybe have a mini vault that we can transfer points to, limit the transfers and then make us use some shards to transfer the bloodpoints back. Cap the vault too if you want. But please find a way to allow us to have banked enough to prestige new characters when they come out.

Basically every tome has a path that can be taken to unlock all challenges.
This is an imperfect example because I claimed more than I needed to but here is my tome 13 level 3
Some tomes will allow more banking than others but you can see here I have 8 challenges banked (6 completed and 2 more that i can complete and dont need to claim)

I always spend BP after some matches or immediately.
No problems with cap or that it takes 2 long...

@kingcarl2012 thanks for this...some of them are working but some others are not. Would you mind looking at an example here? There were some survivor ones that also would not allow me to click on the next challenge even though I completed the one before it but it is too late for me to clip that.

Ok so for bloody good down in the bottom left in order to unlock it you would either need to complete and claim scrap yard or if you claim the one to the left of it you could then you could complete and bank that one.

Agree. Level cap is absolute nonsense. BP farmers? Did you see their sites? 100$ for one prestige 3 killer? :D :D :D :D Definitely worthy. Blood points cap is useless. And as was mentioned before... BHVR just can couter it by selling bloodpoints for Auric cells. I´m farming till cap and then spend it at once. I would like to atleast cap for 100 000 000 BP to having option to reach prestige 100 at once for multiple survivors and killers. And cheaters? Bloodpoints are serversided. There is no way for devs to not recognize that you were cheating. If you add bloodpoints to your account you have one week if you´re lucky and you will get game ban.
