Did the Finisher Mori system get scrapped?

I've heard from a few difference sources that a BHVR dev mentioned on a stream that the Finisher Mori system has been scrapped completely, citing "major balance issues" as the reason. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

    As you're aware the Finisher Mori was only in the testing phase in the recent PTB for the purpose of getting feedback on it. Once designers are happy with whatever adjustments will be made to it, there's likely to be another PTB to test further. We have not said it's been scrapped no.
