Frozen/stuck while pulling survivor from generator

While on Dead Dawg map, Tinkerer went off, and I went to check the generator. The survivor stayed on the generator to try to finish it, and I start to pull them off the generator but get frozen at the beginning of the animation. Couldn't turn my head, and the survivor couldn't finish the generator. I wasn't freed until the survivor disconnected. I'm on PC, playing the game from Steam and playing as the Hillbilly. I haven't had this happen before.
