Merging causing cosmetics to be lost?

Now that merging is back, I quickly did it to get my accounts sync'd and all, but now that I'm looking through my cosmetics for specifically dredge, I noticed that multiple cosmetics across multiple killers and survivors are missing, and they weren't ones I can just re-buy (not that I would want to, because that'd suck). They were limited ones, such as the Golden Limb weapon on Dredge. Is this something more than one person has seen?
