Knights Power Activation Range

Am I the only one facing weird "Activation Range" Issues? For example, I had a game on "The Game" and I had to move 3 to 5 meters away from the palett to activate my power. It feels so clunky and I am wondering if this is a bug. If not, I don't understand why it's in the game. On maps where some paths are really thin, it feels so bad to use your power.
Besides that, why do I have to move away from the palett tho? Even hooks are blocking my power. :(

Yeah it feels very buggy at some spots.
and then I face knights that can place their guards anywhere without even having to stop for a second 😅
