Killer with a power than can turn survivors against each other.
I've always thought this would be super cool.
The killer could be a werewolf or something.
When the killer gets a hit with his special attack the survivor becomes infected similar to the wesker or nemmy infection.
Survivors can cleanse the infections with something similar to plague fountains but a lot less of them, the fountain goes out but resets on the last one so there's never a chance for all the survivors to be infected permanently.
During the match, a full moon event happens similar to the dredge darkness event.
If survivors are still infected during this event then they immediately lose control of their character and turn into wolves that automatically attack survivors who are not turned. Their speed is fast and can phase through pallets/windows like the knight's minions do. But they can still be looped as a counter. Wolves don't injure per hit, but rather hit similar to a trickster gauge meter, once it's full the survivor gets injured/downed. Basically, the wolf just bites the crap outa them repeatedly until they are hurt lmao.
Once the event ends then players reset as if they have awoken from a night of sleep in some random area of the map away from the killer (so the killer can't just camp wolves to hit them once it wears off.) they basically just respawn back into the map like they do when the match starts.

The devs can't even make the zombie AI work properly (No offense, devs).
So do you think they could make a werewolf AI that could chase other Survivors without sticking on the map assets? Also; Survivors would just tell their friends that they are bit, so they would split up before the change.

The idea is cool, but we have to be reasonable here. People are complaining about 25 seconds without being able to heal or repair from the result of a perk that need the killer to spent time kicking a gen and downing a survivor. Now just imagine how they would react if they lose total control of their character because they got hit once...
Maybe if it worked kinda like Onryo or Pyramid Head Mori, when if they are in second phase and had some "infection" bar full instead of hooking them you can spawn the wolf from the already dead survivor would be better.
But like @Stabby_Widdershins said, let's BHVR finish figuring out how pathfinding works before they try to implement any more "minion" powers 🤣

I love the idea of a killer that turns survivors against each other but, "they immediately lose control of their character" is a hard no. At no point in a multiplayer game should a person be resigned to just watching something happen with absolutely nothing they can do about it. Nothing should ever entirely remove player agency. Survivors wouldnt want to willingly injure their teammates either, cause that would be detrimental to them in the long run.
I feel like the best chance of a power that turns players against each other is one of three things:
- The killer gains some sort of intel intel when survivors are near each other.
- Survivors being near each other infects them with some sort of status effect.
- An item is created, that can save a survivor from something or give them a bonus. This item would be very limited, like only one, so that survivor is helping themselves by taking it, or screwing over their teammates since they wont get to use it. Or the survivor uses the item and it actively screws over their teammates while they use it.
