New Game Mode Idea
A lot of people have been complaining about the game becoming stale and the heavy amount of gen stalling in the game lately. While I do agree with these sentiments, and think BHVR should work on addressing this directly, I would like to offer up a proposal in light of this. The way perk usage fluctuates follows much like that of a game of cat and mouse of META builds. Instead, what if a game mode was added that once the match begins, everyone picks 4 out of a selection of 8-12 random perks from their individual pool, and the match is played with that. This ideally should cause a lot more variety in matches.

This could easily be done better with an offering. an Iridescent one that scrambles all players perks who didnt use a ward.

"Hey, you don't get to do any of the stuff you wanted to because that person used an offering. Enjoy your game!" Can you imagine the rage quitting?

So this is basically a randomizer mystery game mode. I'm in to give it a try.

Every time someone gets No Mither, or Deja Vu, or whatever "junk" perk combo, DC.
It would be a bloody mess I agree.

You mean like Dead Hard does?

Yeah, that one perk is absolutely equivalent to having your entire build shuffled around by something out of your control, somehow.
Like, what? How does someone even have that thought? Utterly confusing.

If your opponent is using Dead Hard, or if you suspect they have Dead Hard, you can't lunge, you can't swing instantly when the surv is in range, and you can't use a power like Huntress Hatchets without giving the survivor a free speed boost and putting yourself in cooldown. Even at its weakest, Dead Hard denies multiple basic gameplay options to the Killer.
Killer mains will often breathe a sigh of relief when they see the Survivor use some other Exhaustion perk, because that means they can just swing and hit the Survivor, and they go down. End of story. What a concept.

Yeah thank you for explaining that point I absolutely agree with. It still doesn't make it remotely equivalent to having your perks scrambled.
They're saying "hey there's one incredibly frustrating thing in the game, why not add this other incredibly frustrating thing?" It's nonsense.

I'm not sure what prompted a bizzare dead hard tirade(that I 100% agree with) but insulting me doesn't really illuminate anything.

They're right tho.
