Hatch only for ONE

The hatch should be the method of escape for the ONE and LAST survivor.
A desperate way of getting away against the odds.
So why does the hatch open if other survivor already escaped?
This hurts especially the Pig.
Hatch escape with a RBT on you? Ok, but being the 2nd or 3rd escaping just by waiting for the hatch to appear?
That sucks.
Same is true for other already escaped through the open gate and one sucker is looking for the hatch, just to get extra BPs.
Why give the survivor even more chances?

    Because survivors represent ~80% of the community and dictate balancing

    the hatch open for last survivor on 3 escaping via gates is basically programming bug
