top 3 things i would change/improve

1: SoloQ

  • The Icons that show what each Survivor is doing should help SoloQ a lot. Nothing more to add here.

2: Boons/Hex Totems

  • Boons: I think they should either be revealed to the Killer at all times or disappear after like 3 minutes
  • Hex Totems: The main problem is that they can both be cleansed within the first minute of the game and be completely useless or never be found and be completely broken (especially against weaker survivors). To fix this i suggest two things:
    1. Hex Totems will be blocked for 90 seconds at the beginning of the match. This way Survivors can still find the Totem but cannot cleanse it before you get any value out of it. Could also add perks with effects like "Increase the time Hex Totems are blocked at the beginning of the game by 60/75/90 seconds. Increase the time anything is blocked by 10 seconds"
    2. Some Hex Totems will be revealed to all Survivors (that got the notification of the Hex) once a certain condition is met. These could be things like after a certain time has passed or after a certain amount of tokens has been reached.

3: Addons System (and Items too i guess)

  • The fact that they get used up makes them really hard to balance (and a lot less fun), so I would suggest that addons are infinite (kinda like perks), but come with an upside AND downside (the goal being that a killer with the best addons would be on the same tier on a tierlist as the same killer without any addons). This would make them a lot easier to balance, allow a lot more creativity and give them the opportunity to rework the bloodweb as well (also i despise consumables so i never use them even though i would really like to). Not sure how i would change stuff for survivors but it should go in the same direction.
