Dredge Adept STILL Broken

I got Merciless Killer with the Dredge running only his three perks and no add-ons, and the Adept Trophy did not unlock. I've had this problem since he was released, getting Merciless Killer multiple times over this timespan, never using add-ons, and never unlocking his Adept. There are bug reports of this from June, July, August, September, and as recently as December, but these reports never get traction or acknowledgement.
Is this EVER going to get fixed?
