The perk that encourages trolling, camping, and holding the game hostage
When can we get rid of the perk Insidious. It literally has no benefit or adds any benefits to a Killers play or survivors play. All this perk is designed to do, is encourage troll Killers to camp and reap the rewards of not trying. Especially in full solo queue sessions. I was the first to get hooked after a long chase. The Killer hooked me and decided to camp 3 ft from the hook. I watched as a survivor attempted the rescue, but was inevitable downed. After my sacrifice, the Killer then camped the next survivor. all due to Insidious allowing him to do so. By, the end only 1 survivor managed to escape, after he camped 3 of the others. With the massive overhaul of the game, I'm surprised they still allow a perk that is truly designed to enrage survivors and halt the game by a ton. I don't know, just seems like a simple fix to remove and has no effect to the game at all.

Without insidious so many fun little strategies or builds would be useless and you want to remove it because of an easily counterable play style

[Sits underneath hole, survivor falls in arms.] [Midwitch]
[Waits next to gen, surprise grab.] [Ormund]
[Sitting at exit gate, here No Way Out Proc right next to me.] [Garden of Joy]
[Fake leaving survivor, they leave their strong loop allowing me to murder them faster.] [Autohaven]
Don't touch my insidious.

I love it when I play twins and someone starts working on a gen next to me because they think I'm running around as victor.

None of that stuff is holding the game hostage.

How does Insidious 'hold the game hostage'?
Seriously; the person the hook can die, and the people NOT on the hook can do gens. So where's the Killer preventing the game from ending?

People really need to stop using "Holding the game hostage" to describe things they don't like. There's few things in dbd that can actually be considered "holding the game hostage" as the devs have done a decent job with making it hard for either side to hold the other side hostage.

Yet another suggestion from the anti-fun brigade.
