What do I do to counter Wesker

He seems to be a thorn in my side. Flys over pallets, have to find a box all day, and I swear he gets some of the most bull ######### hits with his charge. I would appreciate any and all tips.

He has a slight animation cooldown after vaulting the pallet with his power and can’t directly move, also this doesn’t break the pallet and the power needs to recharge. Look at him when he charges his power and try to dodge the hit / confuse him with your movement

boxes are plenty and are being revealed as white auras so I don’t really see your problem there?

his charge isnt charged until you see that little "whoosh" around him. Dont worry about him until that, and once thats there, see if hes the type to wait or instantly charge, then play accordingly

He can vault over pallets, yes, but unlike Legion he has a short time where he's basically stunned, and it deactivates his power, so if he wants to do another charge he has to wind up the charge all over again. Depending on the loop, you can use this time to just get to the other side of the pallet, or leave and try to get to another loop.

Also keep in mind he has a 1.5 second windup on his power - he raises his hand to signify he's about to use his power, but there's a delay before he can actually charge. He also has a short cooldown before he can M1 after he lets go of M2. If you're too close, you can try to just run into him to confuse him so he either cancels or misses the charge. As long as you aren't getting hit by the actual charge, you won't get infected, so getting M1'd is always better.

If he grabs you, infected or not, he applies 20 charges of infection to you. At 100 charges you're infected, and you passively gain 0.8/second once he gets you to 20 charges. Therefore, you have 100 seconds, almost 2 minutes, until you're infected if he grabs you once. Each additional grab will knock 25 seconds off this.

    Hopefully this helps.

If you turn a corner tightly, he will hit the corner and not you, he will also be forced to let go of his power if the loop is thin and you have distance.

Always make it as hard as possible for him to grab you, walls are your friends if you know you can turn the corner in time
