Noise notifications are visibly really annoying
this looks so awful but its a general concept idea that id rather get out there than let sit in my perfectionism forever
but yea, less visually obstructive and general simple fix that makes it so hearing something doesnt blind you looking over there while maintaining the general depth perception idea they want to maintain
preferably everything would remain pretty transparent (i couldnt make it look better i tried) except for the red dot to stay out of the way, and it would be all wither-y and entity-y and look actually good
had an idea i forgot about where if you looked directly at a noise notification it would become transparent and disappear, or disappear quicker the longer you looked at it, and the same general concept could be applied here
i understand the general concept of not wanting noise notifications to be infinitely uninhibiting for perks like the noise distraction or whatever but in my experience once i understand that theres funny business going on i just ignore them anyway so
also general concept general concept general concept general concept

The obstruction is intentional and useful. On open maps it prevents survivors from seeing where you come from after a hook.

I dunno. If you a provide an example of where this is important maybe youd change my mind but that seems like not an important or reasonable game mechanic, especially if thats the only case where its a good thing

Perhaps the uncertainty of information is important given it’s a game with a horror aesthetic?
