HDR Doesn't work with this game?

Lighting and colors really add to this game, every time i try and use HDR mode i get major frame drop and perfect fps when it's off. This is the only game i've run into this issue with. Anybody else?
I have had a couple of instances where i wouldn't get the fps drop and this game looks so much better i must say
