Does Killer MMR drop after not playing?

I was just wondering, if the Killer MMR drops if I'm not playing Killer for a while? I've been noticing that my first few matches after a four week break or so are very easy. I'm really not complaining, just interested in the answer. Thank you in advance!

    Yeah they changed it up a little bit in one of the updates late 2022, though I don’t recall the exact details.

    there is some kind of mmr decay when not playing for some time (or the mmr is adjusting differently when picking the role up again after some time)
