Delete Furin please
Furin is an addon from the Spirit. This addon makes it so every survivor can hear the Spirits phasing and the directional sound cue is getting removed. This literally removes her counterplay because you can't tell where she is going and it's baffling how BHVR can make such an addon after giving her the directional sound cue. Other addons of her are problematic as well but no addon is as obnoxious as this one. Please change the addon.

I see you havent discovered what mother-daughter and yakuyoke amulet or cherry blossom does on spirit.
I am very much convinced furin is actually one of her fairer addons. (Survivor main playing spirit about 3% of all games)

It's only useful if she starts phasing when you're out of her terror radius. The entire point is that it's basically her jump scare add-on.
It lets her do stealth play and that's its entire point. You're not meant to have counterplay to this specific thing from that distance (or she's got oblivious or is running a buncha perks to suppress TR).

Those two killers are not nearly as strong as the Spirit. She moves at an insane speed while using her power so her directional phasing is your main counter midchase against her. If you don't know where she is coming from where is the counterplay?

I did. And they are fundamentaly broken. But atleast they don't remove the directional sound cue so if you are at a tile you can still mindgame and trying to predict what she is about to do. With Furin? Absolutely not!

Counterplay is run, it doesn't matter that addon is meant to trick you just like the ones I mentioned

You still get directional sound if Spirit starts phasing when you're inside her TR.
So if you're having a problem in-chase, either they're running a build to suppress their TR (in which case it's fine because they've built everything around being a stealth killer; your job's gonna be to stealth back, not move fast), or you've picked up Oblivious and aren't in it (Plaything, most likely), which is a similar thing: stealth.
If you're getting grabbed off a gen from half a map away on the rare occasions Spirit is showing up with the amulet for slower but longer phasing, probably bring Distortion all the time, is my advice. She needs to work out where you are somehow when you can't be seen.

Furin is fine. I wish there were more addons like it that alter the killer's playstyle or how to play against them.

What counterplay? What soind cue? Spirit with speed addons is quick enough that when you hear your cue, then there's nothing to be done. Vaulting takes too long and not vaulting means hit.
Sorry to break it to you, but furin is one of her weaker addons. Actually it's like mirror meyers - creates jumpscare potential in exchange of not using one of her really broken addons

Yeah because it was only "fun" and surely not bringing back the thing that made it impossible to counter her. Adding the directional sound que was what made her balanced. Furin literally made her uncounterable again though she still had MD-Ring which I still don't understand. So no, I'm not happy now. There are a lot of other addons that are simply overpowered that need to get nerfed wether it's Blight, Spirit or Nurse. Addons should never make a killer overpowered.
