Title, basically.

(For context, I guess: I think just yesterday I was rather upset about what up to then seemed like a culmination of business practises I greatly disapprove of when it comes to in game purchases. No need to rehash it all but it boils down to the combination of "real money only" + "limited time" that usually targets a very specific, very vulnerable group of people. - In that same post yesterday I also said that I'd be overjoyed if it turns out the seasonal cosmetics are Aurics only during their first season and upon returning available for Shards as well. - The one thing I can't wrap my head around is: why not communicate it this way from the very beginning? So much backlash, negativity and frustration could have been avoided.)

While I am glad they finally said something about the time limited cosmetics it doesn't change there is still alot wrong with them.

The "did not have an opportunity to announce this" makes no sense to me. Why start something, do it for 3 events worth of "time limited" cosmetics, and not "have an opportunity" to clarify anything until 2 days after the most recent time limited outfits were released - 2 days worth of players buying that could've waited for them to be available for iri shards. Sure, it's nice they've finally decided to clarify that they'll be available for shards when they come back but there's no way there was no "opportunity" to start clarifying this information 4 months ago when they decided to start making cosmetics in the store time limited.

There's nothing about the fact that quite a few of these "seasonal" cosmetics are year round cosmetics that just happen to be released in a seasonal collection. There's nothing about the fact they're removing cosmetic options for already low picked characters making it less likely new players will pick them up which also makes it less likely they'll get more cosmetics in the future.

There's nothing about the fact that vaulting cosmetics is plain wrong in the first place.
