Map banning system

What about it:

Killer can choose 2 or 3 maps that will never be chosen randomly.

In addition map offerings won't be so strong so you won't meet ghost face on Lery's or survivors won't be able to make any killer cry on Police Station

1 offering: 60% chance to play on this map ( 40% if map is banned )

2 or more: offerings 100% chance to play on this map no matter if it's banned

Any offering less than 100% kind of sucks for the killer, since all a team needs is 2 for 100%.

So maybe make killer offering 100% to get particular map and survivors will have to bring at least 2 offerings to chave 50% chance to get other map when killer also brought the offering

If survivors could see eachother's offerings to make coordinating simpler then maybe this would work.

I think it'd still be a weird system that would make people upset though. I'm very much in the "just delete map offerings" camp even if that still has its own drawbacks like killing a couple builds and would be even more unpopular lmao.

I like the idea of making 1 survivor-map offering a set percentage and not guaranteed unless X amount of survivors have the same offering.

And then of course sacrificial wards cancel all offerings unless all 4 survivors have the offering.

The whole map banning idea is not something I’d be an advocate for though.

Id say one offering for “this map” should be 25%, then 50% for 2, 75% for 3 offerings, and 100% for 4.

What about higher map prioritization? For eg: if I’m loading in as Hillbilly there should be a higher chance that I’ll get Autohaven or Macmillans by idk..10% for peace of mind.

It's one and the same thing. If your want to change map offerings - a clear buff to killer side - then make lobby invisible. Killer should not see who he is playing against (no lobby shopping) and not be able to change build depending on items. Do both at the same update, or do none.
