New 2nd Survivor Objective idea
So, alot of Survivors hate doing generators, yet, for killer, Survivors have quicker objective time then theirs and needs slowdown, regression, and map pressure to compete. I have a solution that involves buffing both sides, while giving Survivors a great advantage if they decide to undergo 2nd objective also.
I called it Gen Parts, and let me explain how they will function.
*Generators at base charges will be buffed from 90 charges to now 120 charges. (Time repair is buffed, from 90 seconds to 120 seconds, or two minutes)
*All gens can be modified by a gen part that is spread out and spawn constantly throughout the map, up to a maximum of 5 gen parts for each Generator.
*The Gen part is series of rng items, which can take on a appearance of a Gas Canister, Nuts/Bolts, Lightbulb, Rotor, etc. Once found, any Survivor can carry it like any normal item, but you can carry it on your left hand along with your regular item (Flashlight, medkit).
*The Gen part is a quest item, which will not be effected by Franklin's demise; yet can be dropped when downed by the killer. The Gen part will remain visible in white or any bright color aura to all survivors, as it helps them spot it from the ground.
*Once a gen part is taken to a specific gen; the Survivor will go through a random type of minigame; different from skillchecks. It can be quick button, button combo, etc. It will need to be completed before you do any repair progress, as it will reset if you cancel or leave the gen early in the middle of the mini game. Which makes it risky to do when close to the killer and potionial killer grab.
*Once the generator part game is complete and you successfully install a gen part to that gen; you gain 10% of a gen progress and it will never be regressed by any mean. You can literally saved up go 10 seconds of a gen, with just one part; and the killer can no longer remove any progress even with perks or basekit kicking regression.
*In theory, All survivors in a trial can invest alot of time exploring the map, finding all the parts for all 7 generators, and apply all 5 parts per generator; or 35 gen parts; so that they can turn 120 second long generators progress into 60 second long generators. This will make powerful slowdown in the early game and prevent gen rushing at the start, yet combat 3 gen scenario more often; as survivors can premeditated using the gen parts to their full advantage and undergo time investment in finding all the parts and getting all gens repair using just the gen parts.
Yes, I know that survivors are not forced and can choose to not do the gen parts; but I want to make it so that it not a valid strategy to straight waste 2 minutes of your time to single handedly work on the gen all by yourself; instead of exploringthe map and bringing back the gen parts. That, it would help the devs with nerfing/reworking gen focused builds and gen slowdown/regression builds.
What do you all think? Is it good, bad, doesn't it need any more changes or any concerns?
