(PS4) HUD Bug - Dead Player Cleansing Totem

When I was spectating a match after I died, I noticed that the HUD said my teammate who was already dead was cleansing a totem.
The map was Midwich Elementary School.
This survivor was playing Jill with Off the Record, Built to Last, Dead Hard, and Adrenaline. I was playing Ada with Boon: Circle of Healing, Prove Thyself, Wiretap, and Distortion.
The killer was Plague. She was running Hex: Thrill of the Hunt, BBQ and Chili, Hex: Devour Hope, and Thanatophobia. I believe Devour was at full stacks because both myself and Jill were hooked max number of times, and our other teammates had been hooked once each.
This is the only time I've seen this, but if I see it again, I'll come back with any other observations.
