Survivor Tutorial Bug

I got my friend to install dbd so we could play together, but they ran into a bug after meg pallet drops the trapper. You get stuck in a corner and can't move. It won't allow the tutorial to progress so we can't play together. Sucks because we were looking forward to it and it's a really bad first impression on the game is encountering a bug like this. I also looked it up and it's happening to a lot of people and has been for over 2 weeks ... How is this acceptable ??
