I want the next chapter to be an original vampire
Honestly I'm kinda tired of all those speculations on what the next big licence will be. I just want to have a vampire as the next killer with some unique abilities. Like being able to suck the survivors blood or fly around the map. That would be so cool (though probably hard if not impossible to implement sadly).

I would love to see a vampire killer as well. It’s a stable of the horror genre and we don’t have it in DBD yet. I think it’s time!

A vampire killer would be cool. Plenty of decent licensed ones (mummy dimetrescu)
But an origional one would be interesting. Could be a serial killer with an obsession for blood/vampires who gets turned into an actual vampire in the entity's realm. Would make for an interesting backstory.

Yeah a vampire has so much lore potential. We know that BHVR is able to write great lores for certain characters (let's put Artist aside) so it might be a realy good idea

There are certain types of potential killers that could be implemented. A lot of popular too. A pirate for example. Or a killer based on a famous myth.

100% odds that they go for a Nosferatu lookalike if they do.

Personally I'd rather have a werewolf, but I'd be happy either way. Vampires are really cool, and would fit well into dbd.

A collaboration with the castlevania franchise would be so great and kinda fitting to dbd.
Dracula as a killer and one (or other characters too) of the Belmont as survivor.
The developers could take inspiration from so much material (all the great old games),imagine all the cool stuff that would come out,the art,the music etc,just like what happened with attack on titans but much bigger.

Honestly, though, I wouldn't mind a vampire if they avoided the Nosferatu thing. We need someone aside from Trickster (and Wesker, but he's licensed) that can actually get nice skins once in a while. "It looks just like us!" is also a horror theme, after all.
(I guess there's also Legion, but there you're hampered by the whole 'it's four people and we need to hide the face' thing)

Just remembered that the topic title says "original vampire",so my bad for mentioning a collaboration.
But the Dracula from Castlevania would fit your description so well.
Imagine a mori from him where the developers manage to make him say (with the voice actor from symphony of the night or a similar one) "what is a man,if not a miserable pile of secrets!".

I want to see if they can do a female Killer that has a face and hasn't been mutilated or horribly disfigured in some way. It seems to be an impossible challenge for them. There ain't many on the male side, but at least Deathslinger and Clown got away with "just old and ugly, respectively" xD

Elizabeth Bathory or a Killer inspired by her would be a great choice for this.

onion to counter the killer for survivor all over the map, yes yes that would be hilarious.
