Nintendo Switch - Party Connection Issues

Since the beginning of the Lunar New Year event, when I try to join my friends, I'll get disconnected from the group. Sometimes it'll happen as we're waiting, but most of the time, I get disconnected right when a match is found. I'd guess that I get to play with my friends 1 out of every 4 or 5 attempts. None of them have been affected by the bug, leading me to believe it's a Nintendo Switch only bug (they all play either on PS4 or Steam).
Occasionally, when i rejoin the party after the initial disconnect, the ready up prompt becomes gray and I can't ready up.
The bug doesn't affect me whenever I play solo.

1
