    well. It’s definitely a grey area, and it depends on how you do it.

    eg being afk from the beginning of a match (or botting) is bannable. Forcing the other players in a match to farm with you is bannable, as is ‚not participating in normal gameplay‘ to some degree.

    though you have to get reported for it by others and they need to provide video proof and I guess one single report is unlikely to warrant a ban as it might be due to irl reasons.


    safest way to do it is play the game just as normal as you would but not killing/escaping on purpose. So if you just play the game and chase/hook the survivors without sacrificing them, your mmr would go down and you would not directly violate in-game rules.
