Regarding the new patch
I believe that the nerf to eruption is ridiculous, to the point it will be a dead perk. While I agree that nerfing eruption isn't a bad idea (even though I'm killer main, it is true that the gen kicking meta is somewhat boring), I believe they go to the extreme. You didn't nerf it, you destroyed it. If the problem is the incapacitated state, I don't know, remove it and put the scream and nerf a little the regression. But 10% per gen progression? I don't think they're considering how bad it is.
Also, it is funny how survivors (with due respect) cry about any killer meta, and the devs always listen to them, taking away anything good that the killers get. Making and unreliable and ever changing meta. While the nerfs to the survivors are always changed little by little to strong buff, making a static and unchanging meta survivor.
What does this do and will do? More tunneling. More unfun things to do. Because instead of fixing core problems with the game, they keep doing thins like this. And I'm not talking about eruption. Today is eruption. Once survivors starts to whine about another perk it will be Pain resonance, or Call of brine, or any gen regres perk.
Meanwhile the game maps still have strong loops, the SWF gets stronger and stronger and all for what? Solo cue and lower MMR health.
BHVR, mods. The game must be balanced around high MMR while making low MMR not impossible. Not the other way around. Ask any other online game company they will tell you the same.

Funny, they killed strong perks like spine chill, DS, iron will, self care, dead hard (still complaining) which caused tunneling even more than before, but looks like people only focus on one side

Do I believe they went too far with nerf hammer? Yes (keeping regression as it was would have been fine. Even making it 15% would not be too OP). But the perk needed to be changed badly.
The meta that you are so unhappy about resulted in 61% kill rate. Also in 200hrs killer complaining he has to face 2k hrs survivors and not getting more then 3 hooks (just guess which perk raised this killer to such an mmr). The change was necessary. It should have been done in patch 6.1.1.
