Idea for a new high risk high reward game mode.
I've been playing Hunt Showdown lately and had this idea for this mini mode that could add some fun, at the moment I could only think in what survivor mode would be:
game name: Last Stand.
Mechanics:
This mode has it's own "wallet" of bloodpoints, shards and maybe even some cells? independent of the main one.
You select your survivor of choice and this survivor becomes the only survivor you can use in this game mode until they die/you release them. The character has it's own level on this game mode that doesn't work as in the bloodweb, but instead it gets automatically increased based on the amount of blood points you earn on each game, all perk slots are open as well from start.
The survivor will start the game without any items and perks, (perhaps 1 or more if this turns to be too hard to start). After you complete trials you will get a huge ammount of blood points that you will be able to spend on items and perks, but not in a bloodweb style, here you can choose and buy whatever you want, the prices are changed so that you will have to think well what you spend on, perks, add ons and items have different prices based on their usefulness, you can choose which level of it to buy as well, being lower levels cheaper.
Now this is where the fun starts, the rewards you receive will go to this mode's wallet, the ammount of shards you receive gets increased by the level of your character, meaning that the higher the survivor's level, the more you get per game. After reaching certain level you can retire your survivor and the wallet's contents get added to your main game currency, perhaps even the chance to unlock a perk for that character or something big if you retire your character at max level, you know, to make people use different survivors.
But in this mode death is permanent, meaning that if you die, you will "lose" that character, not as in being unable to choose let's say feng min again, but losing all progress you did on this mode, the wallet, the level, everythng on this mode gets reset to 0. So either if you retire it or it gets killed you will have to start from 0, select a new survivor and all that.
