Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

Server sided replays

Many times I wonder in this game "What in the actual f just happened here". As such, I would like to see what actually happened in those instances. Like I have had instances where survivors just completely disappeared when playing as killer, I've had instances where the killer found me when playing survivor and I am like "How?!", nowhere near em, definitely not pinged, and yet finds me healing in some far out of the way corner of the map. So I would like the opportunity to see what actually happened there.

Specifications on functionality:

  • Every player on both killer and survivor team should be observable
  • When observing any player the camera view should be as the player had it at the time of the game
  • Skill triggers should be shown in a chat-type log with timestamps
  • You should be able to speed up and down the replay and rewind replays
  • Replays should be saved to a seperate file that can be redistributed
  • Replays should be encrypted to prevent tampering with them

    It would be really cool, but I've read that it's impossible with the way they've coded unreal 3. Or whichever one they use.
